Implementing quality care into practice for people with complex needs
The main scope of the literature review was to identify and critically appraise any relevant literature available on the topic. An initial search for literature on implementing quality care into practice for people with complex needs resulted in virtually no relevant documents or research available on the topic. A number of studies were brought up with regards to the provision of quality care services for children with complex needs. However, these were not included in the current literature review, as the present research project focuses on adults with complex needs, not children.
While considering the aim of the present study, namely to identify challenges faced by care providers working with people with complex needs, a more detailed literature search was conducted using existent online databases explained in table 3. A list of inclusion and exclusion criteria was devised to help narrow down the search to more relevant results and to help increase the efficiency of the literature review
